*read top to bottom then bottom to top

there she sits
as unreadable to me as ever
in that shell she made a home
for all i know she could be
peeking between invisible fingers
in fear of how deep the rabbit hole goes
now that there is no going back
i wish i could have done more for her
Lord knows i would have kept trying
i just couldn’t figure out how to play the hero
shackled to the villains seat of her life’s story
what it was i did i do not know
but her struggles grew more and more
anger grew to resentment
declaring that the ends justify the means
we watched her leave
armed to the teeth with feelings
worn raw in pursuit of happiness
determined that her own hero she would be
crossing her final boundary
in that shell she made a home
never to be seen again
there she sits

your works make me feel that we met in the hall somewhere, only i saw and looked away, distracted
by the moth eating the caterpillar
and you watched me as i watched them and as the preying mantis comes and is enveloping me in her arms you cross the room and rescue me, carrying me off to your throne, to fattened for display as the energies feeds the flock and all is well, at the well

This poem I can relate with more than anything you have ever written. It's like you were a fly on the wall of my soul. Absolutely moving.

as i was writing this i could not shake the image of the Mean Hearts Queen in a straight jacket...1 sitting across from her at a table as she is having trouble with cognitive and perception impairments to the point that she is becomining catatonicly schizophrenic.... and as she is loosing grip of reality...2 her fantasy world comes crashing down around her... the walls she built enclose her whether awake or asleep... there she sits... upon her throne

I sense the beginning of the end, as the little bird grows restless in her gilded cage of (marital bliss?) of years past. Somehow, reads as a prequel to 'Divorce As Only Poets Can'. I feel her pain, I feel your pain.
