I’m an island
Of shallow graves
Of all the words
Lovers ever lied to me
Of a rough land
So barren and bare
I was lustful
But they didn’t dare care
And the water made me strong and shaply
The wind withered and made me
The rain bitter to break me
But I’m an island
Solely singing save me
And when stranded at sea
The sailors look for me
And my lighthouse shunting bright
Screaming into the distance with light
Yelling always I’ll bring all I can to this my plight
Forever growning and trying as ecosystems do
Changing too
I find myself all alone as people do
Lost at sea
