I am the Crone

The Crone– my Truth for myself

An old woman
Ugly, unpleasant, cruel, bothering
Pitiful, wretched, useless, weak, pathetic
That is how the present time still
And history since the patriarchat
Sees women which passed a certain age

It is engraved in our cells
Cut into our hearts
Written into our minds
Shown through the fear of society
The contempt of mainstream media
And the helplessness of materialism

The Crone
An old woman
Signed, branded, stigmatised by life
Different, burnt, damaged, challenged
Experienced through living an unique life
Her own life, in her own time, her own pace

The Crone– Silver
Some are strong, fierce, loud, inwardly untamed
Some are soft, silent, mild, inwardly untamed
Blessedly becoming free from the inhuman
Demandings of the money-beauty-business
Discovering the real worth of themselves

The Crone– Maiden, Mother, Wise Woman
Dancer with Kronos through time
Lover through the ages
Healer, Nurse, Priestess, Vessel
Not created– but co-creator
Discovering what life really means

The Crone is coming
Silent, slowly, beautiful in my own worth
Speaking and keeping silent in my own right
Sovereignty through the call of my dear Christ
The wisdom of age and of ages
The Love and understanding of the Mother

The Crone
Nature never made something like 'grey hair’
White is what the hair is becoming– Silver
Silver– the outer sign of the Gods
For the circle of human life
The Mystery of the warmth of blood is the mystery of silver

The Crone
She has to be at rest in herself
With the Grace of the experience of her life
With the ability to wonder like a child
Dancing in the evening of her life
With the Love that made her life grow and unfold

The Crone– Dagmar
Becoming, healing, trusting
Knowing that evening is not Sun set
The earth is rising to kiss the Sun
The Higher Beings are waiting
Welcoming another Crone 'You’ll make it home’

with all the Love and Forces of my Heart
~Dagmar
