I died
My life here is over,
my time here is up.
I could start again,
and risk losing a Friend.
The world and its ways
use to fill my days,
but now that I died,
His Word alone remains.
I picked up my cross,
prepared to suffer,
for His Name alone,
I’m able to utter.
