Lucid Thoughts

The moon was a ghostly guise in the midnight sky,
A breeze, like a murmur, drifted through the night,
Held spellbound by the lucidity of my thoughts,
My essence is rhapsodized in the moonlight.

A treasury of eternal beauty hidden,
The particles of each shadow summons me,
To be one with you in the stillness of the mind,
Together forever the Muse’s guarantee.

Within the vastness of unrestrained passion,
This sacred molding of a pair intertwined,
Begs Father Time for his kindest touch,
That the hands of the clock would he surely bind.
