The Ocean Psalm

In the sigh of the twilight hour I stand,
On a fading hue of glistening sand,
A salty spray from the playful tide,
Was caught in the wind on this seaside.

Haunted by shadows of the deep,
The waves were rhythmic in their sleep,
My heart beat echoed the subtle calm,
The sacredness of the ocean psalm.
