letter to the lord
My first ever poem
Dear lord,
Every morning, every night
I pray for the will,
The strength to fight.
To go on in this world
And make a difference,
But not tonight
For tonight.
I pray neither for
Help or strength
To apologise or
Make amends.
I pray for those who
Are my enemy
Who stand before
And challenge me,
Because tomorrow
I will succeed.
