I had a bleeding heart of pain,
that only you could heal
It was my hope, a reoccurring dream,
one I thought you might could feel
I cried those tears of many years,
until deep rivers over flowed
The pain followed me to my death,
now those tears no longer flow

Will do :)I get so swamped sometimes so they don't always go up right away... but I save them... along with who inspired them...once I work on them I post them along with a name if they are open to it....It is a way to let my poetic kin and readers know about some of the other poets on this site... to inspire and promote their songs.

Awesome, I hope I can find this as a poem on your page. If not what a shame. Thank you for posting and for your beautiful comment/poem/sentiments

If I were to cry
Then let my tears
Fall in such a way
As to flood my life
End the drought
That caused themLet them stream
In such multitudes
As to fill my world
Unhinging my anchorSo that adrift I may find
No better company
Than myself
The aliens I would meet...Later
when my tears
Finally subside
Let my foot
touch down solid
On a ground
Still wet
With intetest
for meand the timethat I have left
