Missing Piece- Found

You hold the missing piece of my soul. How can you love me? I am nothing. Unbelievable agonies locked in my mind. Tormenting me ceaselessly– deadening the joy you bring. Highlighting the kind, loving way you look at me. You elate me. Frustrate me as you might– I love you. I am nothing if not your darker half. You are my happiness, as I am your agony. Your pleasure for my pain– full circle. Fledged in the longing to see me as you do. You look at me and I quiver from the love and adoration etched on your skin. And I simply have to wonder– what is it that he sees, that I don’t? Mirror, mirror make me see. I need so desperately to believe. Your face floats up into the clouds, fading into the hazy nothingness of a swiftly forgotten dream. I’ll find you again...
