Lifetime Membership
Going to the gym, without
A membership, is the friend-zone;
You’ll never be where you want to be.
Barely showing up,
Just like I’m barely listening–
I always get disoriented and
Utterly perplexed by how one creature
Can possess such thought numbing beauty,
Making so I can’t form the proper Mot.
But I caught a Glimpse
Of what you said
So I responded:
“I sorta See what you’re saying”
Hoping you don’t realize I wasn’t paying
Attention—
Yet, I’m constantly paying admission
When I want to Workout,
But getting zero benefits.
On the latter end of my situation
There’s a Happy Ending.
I gradually build the Strength
To apply for a Lifetime Membership
At your gym...
