The Fortress Caves
to those at the point of breaking
Obligations falling at every turn,
The fortress caves under the rubble,
She’s trapped, desperate, and calling,
and resorts to tunneling and finds herself in more trouble,
A poor girl is still sobbing, Overloaded brain throbbing
The ticking foresights the explosion,
They watch, blindly, witness her demise,
Hallucinating and mentally painting pictures of clear blue skies,
She loses patience, with the situation, and their lack of simple education,
She struggles to find hope, so why try
And once its to late,
They’ll neglect their share of blame
and clear what’s left of the fortress away.
