The Mirror
After reading this take a look.
Today i looked in the mirror, and for the first time i saw
not he nor she, or what society thinks but the being that is me
and she smiled at me in satisfactory and joy saddled on her back
and the words appeared one by one, all that she’s done
and everything she has that’s good
and i read them all, more or less a few, Now enlightened i understood
I saw her glow, she and I now know, things are going quite swell
In case you forget that you are still being blessed,
the mirror demonstrates this quite well
I saw and rejoiced she’d finally found a voice, of reason, yes then
the moment when, she saw that she had a choice
to enjoy the view of the brighter side,
optimistic to the twists and turns of the ride
whether to look in the mirror and frown or smile
what did she to choose to do?
well thank god she caught a clue
Because i see her more often now
