Thoughts
Thoughts are flooding through my head.
They are causing my mind to spin.
I tell myself They’ll go away.
But They only cause more dread.
Thoughts are are Killing me from the inside out.
They slice and and stab for days on end.
I say I’m okay.
But everyone is full of doubt.
Thoughts are becoming a part of me.
They keep it up their efforts to win.
I manage to keep them at bay.
One of these days They’ll see.
