Pink Cotton Clouds

You walk around on pink cotton clouds,
Cleverly hiding under multiple shrouds.
A darkness lies in your heart,
Riddles and rhymes that can tear one apart.
A kindness mocks from your lips,
A wickedness so deep and sly,
Reasons I bid you “goodbye”.
Havoc you reek wherever you go,
Your poison is long and slow.
A greedy heart and a rotting mind,
To another’s pain you are blind.
You run from faith and know not love,
You live in a bubble high above.
A smile so sweet behind devious eyes,
Honey drips from your lips in treacherous lies.
Others pardon your false-like grace,
But I see the writing on your face.
If your heart rang true,
I would call to you,
But you walk around on pink cotton clouds,
As you pierce your way through the crowds.
You lie in wait to pounce in pain,
No sins will you wash in the rain.
As you walk around on pink cotton clouds,
Your head heavy as your heart bows.
I wonder where it is you’ll go,
And which face you will show.
But I won’t take your poison today,
In my life you shall not stay.
