Around the Fire
Do not underestimate the strength of another because you think yourself above them.
Dance around the fire
the brothers in arms danced
the woman in arms ordered to sit
a dishonorable being.
Drink around the fire
drinking themselves drunk
the woman sits
disgusted by beer
sober and alert.
Snore around the fire
dreams of riches and gold
wide awake she sits
around she looks
senses a danger and shouts.
Scramble around the fire
reaching for swords and knives
the woman fights the wolves attack
yelping at their victims.
Bleed around the fire
the three men bled
defeated by their foe
whilst the woman survives
laughs at the corpses
then dances 'round the fire.
