In God's Eyes
The struggle comes only in glances, as in time,
a life floats over me.
All is quiet, a baby slips into a darkness of no existence,
so, I slip away too.
They, our little angels fall, so Heaven cries,
no more the day there was, a you!
As I go, it comes, but so do you,
and from where it came,
there I go, and so will you!
At times, all life can be so beautiful,
so, when you stopped, a life did too.
I guess some things were never meant to be,
but you, you are in God’s eyes,
He placed eternity in our hearts,
so, you’ll come too!
