Forgiven

Our past life, it matters not

When our misdeeds are forgiven

With a clean slate, we start afresh

And with eyes clear, we see heaven!

Forget the past? Never must we!

Rather let’s use our failures as leaven

That our lives may rise gloriously

Far away from the deadly seven!
