In the dark, young children squealing
Ghouls everywhere, goblins laughing
    Witches in pointed hats
    A clowder of black cats
Quite a spooky night to go carousing!
One too many Draculas, fangs showing
There’s Morticia always entertaining
    A small colony of bats
    Come as two-legged brats
And Freddy Krueger, his face a-burning…
In a mock graveyard, ghosts are cackling
It’s a typical Halloween, trick-or-treating
    But watch out for rats
    Yes, the two-legged nuts
To keep the children safe! And smiling!
