Love comes not from a vacuum
It appears not from thinnest air
Love does not suddenly bloom
It requires nourishment and care…
Love begins with admiration
For the attributes of another...
It’s never worship nor adulation
Rather respect for one’s character
Yes, beauty soothes, but not always
For it’s in the eyes of the beholder
A brilliant mind brightens many days
But one with a good heart is a keeper
And always, it is how another
Makes you feel awesome and grand
About yourself; when she’s the center
Of your life; and happiness is at hand!
