A Peaceful Thought

There lies a wooden cabin
Just big enough for one
With a garden full of every colour of the rainbow
Growing softly, surely in the dark soil
With a pond to one side
A sparkling sapphire mirror in the morning sun
In a small clearing
Lit up by the sun come the dawn
And the stars and moon come the night
In a large forest
Of verdant emerald greens and trees of all shapes and sizes
With titanic mountains
Looming with their snow-touched heads above
The deer strut proudly
The fox dash from bush to bush
Squirrels chatter in the branches above
Birds sing a million different songs
Harmonizing into one cacophony of the majesty of Nature
An innumerable number of other animals graze
In this large forest
In the middle of which lies
A small clearing
Which holds a wooden cabin for one
A dream? A hopeful memory?
Could it be both?
