The Lighthouse

I don’t want to any more
Turn around and lock the door
Pack our things and let’s make way
To the lighthouse

It’s a feeling I can’t tell
Home again, it’s just as well
The waters crashing on the rocks
At the lighthouse

The sand’s so soft it washes down
My worries and my tired old frown
Please love me through and through
In our lighthouse

It’s just so dry, get me the water
Let’s make a son, a baby daughter
A house of wood, all weathered in
Near the lighthouse.

I know I dream a fantasy,
A move, a new start, you and me
Without the pain,  the history
Just a lighthouse
