Silence

To the moments of darkness in life spent on the edge of the final silence.

A noiseless abyss that surrounds my every thought
That gives me peace, that finds my rage
In the darkness it works against that which it sought
Never relenting with time, ceaseless in age

A white noise hiding the intent of darkness
To erase my existence, to crush my happiness
It will not stop, it will not rest, this dark silence
Until my name is forgotten, or become offence

There will be no fires, there will be no light
To show my path ahead, to remember my fight
Only a fallen survivor, hunted by his darkness
A brave soul forgotten, not knowing happiness

The final silence will surround me in the end
And I will walk once more with an old friend
