The Folly of our Age
Our age portrays positivity always
to everything else’s exclusion
seeking everyone to be tops
when that’s not their solution
Not all have gifted abilities
that belongs to the select few
so why raise one’s false hopes
such a thing’s cruel and untrue
Let us leave each one
to find their own vocation
giving encouraging support when needed
but that being the rare occasion
We all can enjoy life’s moments
no matter how much we lack
finding our place in life’s stage
creating our colour not jet black
So paint your sky
from your own rainbow
using what you have
so your colours are aglow

Just some thoughts on the fact that society today fills young people with sometimes false hopes that they can reach the sky no matter there abilities where really we need to be realistic
