Breaking Through
My heart was ice cold,
until you melted it.
My feelings didn’t exist,
until you manifested them.
My eyes were sealed shut,
until you pried them open.
You pulled me in,
without struggle, on a whim.
They say the truth hurts,
but your truths only make me smile.
With you, I’ve got nothing to hide.
With you, I feel worth while.
This time, I can say I really tried...
I feel like a new me & the old me just died.
