I dance with Rumi tonight
Under the blood moonlight
When the earth casts its shadow
To the moon above, I rid my sorrow.

We talk about an ancient lore...
mysterious maidens from the ocean floor,
while cluster winks illuminating the shore,
our footsteps headed towards the moor.

I love the warm glow of fire
Next to our cold feet from the mire
My lover’s kisses and warm embraces
My heart, my soul, gently caresses.

I dance with Rumi tonight
Under the bright moonlight
When the casted earth shadow
fades, moonlit canopy glows.

In this poem, Rumi represents
my deep emotions and mystical curiosity.

Clusterwinks are bioluminescent snails
that cluster together on rocks mostly seen
along Australian shores.

Rumi was a fine poet indeed. I sure agree with you.
