I walked the blackened sand beach
of what gave me comfort and sorrow.
Yesterday, the tide was high,
and now it has subsided...
Seaweeds and seashells
stranded at the shore...
Future awaits,
we’ll never know what it holds...
The waves tried their might
to save them one last time,
with embrace back to the ocean
once more they might survive.
Seaweeds and seashells
cling to the blackened sand beach
One will never know
whether they’ll stay
Or back to the ocean they’ll go.
