Slowly Fading

His heart was on a platter
To him death didn’t matter
All of the stars scattered
Then fell, buildings were shattered

Hanging from a string high in the sky
Where only darkness seems to satisfy
High just like the moon I begin waning
The light of my life begins slowly draining
When will I begin my waxing phase
Or slowly fade until I am erased
Inching myself closer everyday
A breathing asymptote well on its way
But will I differ by reaching the axis
Home of absolute horror and darkness

In the night she calls for me
With a quiver of yearning sincerely.
I answer with my presence
Alone, again  I play this game
