Validate
I would never validate myself to no man
And I won’t allow them to take away
All of the power I possessed inside
For I am a strong black woman who have value
I won’t let no man demolish my self confidence
For they are definitely not worth it
Without self love
I would be lost in this world forever
Which is why it’s so important to me
And it’s the greatest love of all
Therefore, I won't validate myself to no man
I refuse to let any man make me feel unworthy
I am beautiful inside and out
And I can see and feel it each time I look in the mirror
There’s no man in this universe who can used me as a sex object
Or make me feel less of a woman
For I have high standards.
