Riding Out a Hearts Note

These words left unsaid, keep our love grasping for affectionate tokens,
and everyone one of them scored, rattle away in our pockets...

~ The time spent without your care; heartbroken,
and reciting a psalm out of tune;
gained it’s value the moment you laid still your head above it’s pieces.

 Loud was the crepitation of my heart,
and dire the need for your accompaniment.

 A prevalent sound, I alone could not smother;
this cry subsiding, to the berceuse of my Lover.

 I had not slept, nor did I believe I would ever,
until that moment you held me;
your hair touched my face,
and I heard you softly recite:

                        “Never again will you feel the need to flee
                           or again find peace in the bleed...
                         Never again will you hold me in despair
                           or alone be left in fear...
                         Never again will you crave the taste of tears
                           over the sound of your Lover’s lull
                           falling gently on your ears...”

Mind my heart, lead it’s beating; this rhythm keeps pace for you.

  You are my hearts composer;
arranging notes,
plucking string and dragging bow;
eagerly across our senses,
bursting out in hymn!

 Unleashing the music played by a thousand beats to come,
and freeing me from the burden of a thousand beats past!

 Put your head to my chest;
allow my heart to sing,
then tie me to your breastrope...

My Lover.
My Angel.
My Hope.
