The Business of being Back Handed

A one handed gift giver; full of empty palm.
Could take the tender of a trust traders thoughts,
and make millions.
Bury this trust in a mound of personal debt,
and call it a wash in a handshake shook with the hand missing.
My fingers are a key.
Made in such a way, as to unlock a safe never meant to open.
A place to deposit secrets in, and expect them to be buried alive;
never to rise.
Well .... Surprise!
A transaction made in confidence; with an escape clause.
These words, these memories; about face, and like a boomerang;
return to sender with interest.
This traitors scam takes all it can; in solitary slight of left hand.
Leaving you rightly bankrupt.

Would you give your right arm to be all in?
For a shoulder to believe in?
Investing your heart; your soul,
in this thief of a limb?
