While Under My Roof

A back alley dogged howl
Aloft and insidious
Whirling room to room
Carried on through morning
Is alive and well
Strewn through many households
Burdened;
And unreasonable.

I remember words unfair
And in so choosing cast aside
Those left aimless
And their drop point guides -
My backward feet;
On shallow deafened lines defined.

Can you see
That in every letter pressed
Sings a soundless note?
One of many plays, Arranged
Sent wayward on alone
Then gathered up
Held inside
Speechless Singing Throats.

So we will build a new day
Within a blinding smile shine
Dancing like never before
In each and every simplistic pose
Stilled, Flawless; Love Formed
And this day on joy Engorge!
