Sara

More than words can say, I swear I have the divine right to love you
A phrase so easily put into words but so difficult to grasp through the heart of you soul
Even though the beauty of you illuminates too radiant for the world to see,
Even you shut your eyes and hide away from it
Even you choose to disguise
Yet and still, it shines through
And even still it does not cease to exist
Offending the many that just so happen to glance
The ones that are caught, jailed in by their own insecurities
So they stare
Stare at what they can’t be, trying so hard to look away from the greatness that stands before them,
The greatness that is you
Resentment sets in
Because simultaneously they grow to love you and despise you
They know the truth
A truth that you have yet to see
You were born to be radiant and bred to give unyielding life through a calling so great it refuses to show itself just yet
Some will lay down the hate
Some will feed upon it
Some may go as far as to try and blind you for good
And the beauty of it all is,
None of the hatred has a place
None of the doubt, anxiety, fear, nor discoloration of truth in the permanency of your future
All that is wise, all that is well,
All that is sufficient  and significant is that you get to the top and remain
That you get there receiving whom you are and whom you may be
Becoming a bigger and better you through God and through people
Through love, through faith, and tests of life
