You must be a gem for a woman to bare the most horendous pain known to man just so you could walk the earth with your little bare feet when you were two
Thank your teachers, the kids who bullied you
Your dad who mistreated you
Swallow the pill dry and thank them all for me
Will you do that for me please?
Without tears on that little 5 year old little boy’s face, I would fail to know he man you are today
I would fail to recognize you
Thank your grandma for making pancakes on sunday mornings
Thank every single girl reckless with your heart
Those ladies that led you to me
Thank you for choosing me
If in fact one day things end
If I pass your face on the street
I hope you smile with fondness of kisses on cheeks and loving memories
