they say that eyes are windows to the soul, but have you ever walked by a house at night and gazed into a window where all you can see is a quick glimpses into the lives of the people in that house, or even a curtain pulled concealing it all? Windows really give no insight into what is behind them, therefore the windows of your soul only show a glimpse into what is in your mind and gosh darn it I wish I could unlock the door to your soul because then I could finally know what you’re thinking about and who you really are and how you really feel. if you stare into a window for long enough, you begin to unlock the secrets of what lies behind the sheer panes of glass. maybe if i stare into your eyes for long enough, i’ll be able to unlock whatever it is that’s inside of you.
