Earth Magic

J Ann Crowder

Aye, a magic dust reflecting off irises, vermilion, as dayglow sets beyond a turquoise gauntlet dipped in sand

A starry ring burns upon a night sky’s darkened coal hues

I barely touch her, like dreams almost captured or bubbling blue shorelines almost tingling my toes

An invisible clock chimes in many a bounteous rising moons

Silhouetted earth shadows embark upon her lighted path, to a glass ring of an ocean’s  clear edge

Frothy tides turn to milky silk kisses on a moon christened cove

This is merely a spot of gentle, lulling earth bays, half circles fairy chipped of magical dust, held within mine eye’s sharpening glare

A testimonial to nature’s raw wisdom and half mooned shorelined gaze, mesmerizing each window reflecting her beauty, chasing between mine eyes and her surface of flying, colorful wings

This is earth, alive, holding within her cusp of gazing magic our ever so wonton, peering depths, leaving our eternal souls hungered for more
