My, Orchid Blue

By J Ann Crowder

Many an Orchid ’tis fair and choice; a resplendence, emanating timeless summers of summery kisses abloom

Many anew, florid with rosy, blushed flesh; a new innocence and gauzy perfection born

Betimes, simply bearing brightness like snowy clouds, emitting a pungence of perfumed aroma

She is efflorescent and oft gently, idyllically ripe like ginger skies breaching glory upon morning peaks sheathed in old wrinkled trunks sprouting verdant vines dangling sweet mango fruit

We walk jungle cliffs overlooking brined zest forming a crown of speckled, frothy waves-slapping earth’s wide belly

Seldom, we find Orchids red and rustic, rich with love’s strength

Some bloom with an extravagance of botanicals and purple blasts; a perennial grace, tropical and royal

Otherworldly is she, in a rarity of riveting class

’Tis a duality of wild virility and soft curves, gracefully formed

Herbaceous, ripe, harmonious in her untamable extravagance; still, alluring in her genteel bow

Exotic, Orchid

On rarest occasions we find her softness blooming within hues of diamond blues, blending with aqua marine oceans

A true rarity, holding essences of sublimity and spirituality, pure

I implore her sentiments of innocence, purity, strength, love strong, vivacious beauty, nobility, and nestled, silent treasures

Most of all, I aspire to her unabashed, silent whispers of heavenly realm; joyful, angel songs whispering of spirit and soul

Forever I bend towards her, Orchid blue

Rare and gifted by heaven’s shining gaze

Another ode to nature. Written May 17th, 2016.
