Purple Doves

By J Ann Crowder

How do doves sing love?
Like a mellifluous bell
A mournful coo sung

Like a morning god
Renewing a silent mind
A dove stills mad souls

An Amethyst's calm
Peaceful returns of love lost
Now, lifting veils

Silencing loud hearts
Inside calamity shrinks
Tis’ a noble feat

Doves, doves-turned purple
Underneath purple sunsets
Kiss opulent moons

This is my weak try at some haiku verses. Amythyst and doves both bring peace and tranquillity. Written April 22nd.
