Autumn left a fragrance of bucolic and pastoral scents—wiles to my imagination’s whimsies, leaving a soft, tasteless pirr, like a feather’s tingling touch on my skin
Honeyfur, cool and crisp, I savored
Moonglades swept away my longing heart to golden ripples writing a song
Nigh, moonwakes kept their vigilant vows
At dusk, newfound senses awoke amidst a psithurism’s silk spun whisperings
At dawn, Mother Earth transformed into an ammil of frosted beings
Approaching, winter pierced autumn’s farewell as clinkerbells awoke upon snowy blankets of white-dusted woodlands
Thus my palace born—wild earth’s changing, magical delights my soul has stolen away
To nature, I forever bask in today whilst longing for her next grandest promenade
