A million times I see the image running through my head. My soul filled with desolation. I keep rereading the letter. Trying to find the answer. And I find nothing. Filled with fury in my heart and tears in my eyes. Trying so hard to understand why.
Trying to obliterate every memory I have of you.
And that’s the hard part. How can I forget someone who captivated my heart? And now its broken into a million tiny broken pieces.
But yet, I still long for you.
I dont understand why. You once said you don’t want to hurt me. But had no problem lying to me.
That’s what hurts the most.
When you love someone, any kind of love, your heart soul and thoughts stays with them. You don’t give it to another.
Guess I wasn’t good enough. You wanted to try the new. With no remorse in your heart. You broke mine in two. You laughed at my love. The love I had for you.
