With the alarm singing a beautiful song he rises.
With his uniform in his hands. He slowly moves to get changed. As I secretly watch him. You can see how humble he is putting on every piece.
Good morning sailor, I say
And that look, that sweet look of his. He stands and places a kiss on my forehead.
Its going to be a while he says. With me faking my fake smile. I place my hand on his chest. No matter how far away, my heart is always right here to stay. Come back to me as you are right now.
Not really sure if his smile was fake. But I know his heart is true.
As I lead him to the door my eyes teared up. Come back to me my sailor.
With the sun still rising. I stand there and knew. How proud I am of you and how much I’ll miss you.
So please don’t look back when you get on that ship.
I’ll be waiting on you. With a blissful kiss. We said our ado’s.
