love isn't good enough

You seemed so content with your decision.

How could I say no?

All I felt is my heart sinking.

Did I waste my time on a love that won’t last?

You said you were committed to us.

But you want to go far away

A whole world away...

I loved you like no other ever did

I gave you my all

And you took that away

I cry at night for you to stay

But that’s what you want

And I can’t say no!

My love is just not enough

It will never be

To you I’m just normal old JJ

No love in sight

So I’ll keep

Crying

Wishing

Praying

Hoping

That one day my love

Will be enough for you to stay

My day your night

So far away

I don’t know what else to say
