The Unwelcome Guest

I did not invite you to my house, yet you came inside
I barely opened my front door and without an invitation
you came in.   You have no right to be all over my house,
in every room, crevices, and corners.  Rudely, you like to be
up in my face,  playing with my ears, as if we are a pair.

You hide in my house all day as if you’re  waiting to play but
I have something say, “you are going to pay”.  In the night you
came in my room, then before long, you are in my bed, right
beside my head, looking pretty ready to take a bite at my neck,
as if we are going steady.  You have to go, now what the heck,
now you are on the deck, looking for an escape.

You left your marks upon my skin and you think that’s a big win, no,
not so fast sucker, you bloodthirsty sucker, you are disgusting, rude,
uninvited, unwelcome guest.  I’ve seen and felt your kind before, you
are not going without a fight, 'cause I am going to vanquish you
tonight.  Now you’re sitting on the table and I am able, to count one, two,
three and smack you....now you are dead, you annoying insect,
you bloodthirsty mosquito, you unwelcome guest.
