There was a time, a story, and a tale
A eager girl clung to a trunk and climbed to reach the sun
Motors rumbled the mind of a man below
Bells struck, as did hammers, the man went pale
His cries unheard, climbing another’s stair
As time rang out, so did his, with brown eyes of reminisce
The bell struck six, police and news were dismissed, without witness
But unaware of a girl, afraid in the tree, who was still clinging there
