Forgotten

Girl scared in a tree

There was a time, a story, and a tale

A eager girl clung to a trunk and climbed to reach the sun

Motors rumbled the mind of a man below

Bells struck, as did hammers, the man went pale

His cries unheard, climbing another’s stair

As time rang out, so did his, with brown eyes of reminisce

The bell struck six, police and news were dismissed, without witness

But unaware of a girl, afraid in the tree, who was still clinging there

True story of a girl in who was playing in a tree and saw some bikers shoot a man in the back asking for help as they came up the street but no one would my mom was the little girl
