Long Haiku
This night cannot end These fleeting minutes slow but everything’s urgent and we totally know Break it out
Floret hums over concrete Wilted Casting thin shade
Stalking in dead leaves Remington shell reaps Pour yourself some blood when your're knee deep in the mud Razorbacks in the fog
At home with demons The true hell is solitude Vexing time elapse You are my gargoyle And affliction stains the soul
You cut through the calm concealing my scars prowling 'cross my palm A caress that could crush colored by the moon
Amorphous pace I drift above the ground The sea of corpses Round trip; I’m drowned Time is now
Acuteness naturally kills, but follow the path of the martyr Shrapnel punctured lungs An epitaph below dancing satyr Cross any street
Put on the mask Convey some sense of bravery You fucked up your first task She’ll give you no quarter I’d rather be an untried shell
A siren by any other name We shared one moment Scattered through memory Infinity still spent You are apathetic
Maybe I love the taste, Love the waxing hours Romanticizing death On the floor of a party Oh, it’s a bitter demon
Her arms sank into liquid A kingdom gone An infested cranium It overruns her lungs Hell hath no fury
Blood stain citizen The evidence of culmination Resentment breeds you in a rust filled nation Stoked, flaming glamour
I’m building a soul Hoping it will fit with my shiftless heart or else these things I collect won’t mean shit.
Calmly, lay down your arms. Homely dawns brought you here and our wheelhouse is empty The cyclical cycle of fear A broken home to blame
