Which arrived so very quickly
Rushing skies and swirling tides
A lifetime dotting about
Lonely streets?
Running from door unto door
In search of love’s heart...
Silhouettes aneath lamp post
Smoke coloured lights; white fangs
Waking up one day, a noteful claim
Rose parades; left upon bended knee
Where blood did flow, atop crystal ware...
Her beauty; lingering now, love’s shooting star.
