Which Witch is Which?

For Jane!

I remember You,
Your gutsy laugh,
Your smile.
The way you read the world, people, the road ahead on a quiet, twist and turn, ancient, Kentish, woodland road.
The jokes.
The banter.
The fact that, at age 47, I got u drunker than you had ever been since age 17.
We were raising midsummer night’s dream funds, for Mustard Seed.
Your dream.
And your legacy.
I remember the wisdom!
The light!
Some of us are a bit in denial.
Like Eva Peron we expected you to be immortal.
Never mind we followed one another around North Yorkshire villages in those final weeks.
There was always Christmas and Folkestone and any number of opportunities.
In space and time there is never enough.
You are now outside of that.
Where enough is utterly, undeniably what you have.
And where we will see you soon.
Relatively for me, instantly for you.
Fare you well my loved one.
