Up in heaven
I wanna go up in a place
where beauty is only an essence
where the past had never existed
where love is given to all
by a higher source
where there’s no pain
where we’re not covered by skin
covered in lies and sins
where we don’t take pleasure
in another’s downfall, burdens, and pains
in no need of purity
'cause we’d all be one
where we don’t live
on trying to gain self-esteem
from other’s shame
where all we can be is us
we won’t be blamed for our mistakes
where so much isn’t expected of us
where all we do isn’t used against us
where we don’t live
under the shadow of perfection
because why else would we want to live in sin
knowing we can all be pure
why would we be scared of death
if after death can reveal heaven
if it’s our choice to end up in true happiness and peace
I honestly wouldn’t mind dying any day
'cause in this life
we’re all dead without realizing it
there’s no true happiness
