The real world

Look with your hands,
at
the things you dream.
Don’t wake up,
or
castles made of snow
will
start to melt.

You can’t escape,
this
is the real world.
It has twenty foot
legs,
and it’s chasing
after you.

Sit with your heart,
in
the middle of a
cherry
when it is dark.
Don’t stop love,
or
mountains made of
glass
will start to break.

You can’t get away,
this
is your only life.
It has thirty arms,
that
are stretching out
to hug you.

Listen with your lips,
for
the songs that make
your
mind blow. Don’t quit
picturing,
that you can find an
apple.
Flowers will give rocks
to you.

You can’t hide,
this
is the real life.
It has thirteen lives,
and
it can never die.
