You found me when I was sick at heart, a small wilted flower growing in the middle of winter. You found me when I had my hands painted blue, held behind my neck while I studied the face of the vast sky above me. You found me when we were stars,
but now I am human
Please find me now,
For I am in a different universe.
It took me an entire lifetime,
But now I will let you love me,
As I always wished you would, when you floated next to me, one hundred miles away, glistening inside the delicate night sky. You found me when we were stars,
You found me when I was beautiful,
But you found me under the wrong sky
But now I am human
Please find me now.
